Just as busy in her family life, Linda is a devoted wife, sister, grandmother and friend to all. Thank you Linda Kimble for all you do!
ABOUT THE JOHNSON FAMILY OF ROCK HALL
We wonder now if Clarence Wesley and Wreatha Johnson knew just how much they would be growing in Rock Hall when they opened Eagle Hill Florist in 1958. The Johnsons built their first greenhouse in the Tolchester section of Rock Hall in 1959, and from the very beginning seeds, plants and much more business began to grow and thrive.
But not long after Eagle Hill began to blossom, Clarence and Wreatha realized they needed help if they were going to accommodate the community, run their business and grow plants and vegetables — and do it all well. In 1962 son Clarence Wesley, Jr., his wife, Mary, and their six children left their home in Pennsylvania and came to Rock Hall to help run and operate the family florist and greenhouses.
As Eagle Hill flourished, so did ideas and other family businesses. Over the years, the Johnson grandchildren have branched out and established Coffee and Cream, Rock Hall Video, E & E Seafood, J & J Seafood, Pasta Plus and Harbor Shack. Most family members pitch in and work for the other family businesses during busy times at Eagle Hill and on the delivery van.

Happy President’s Day Linda. You are one of my very best friends and have been for years. As some may or may not know four of us who went to high school together continue to see each other every month. As part of the RHHS class of 1969 Mary Johnson Fletcher, Sandy Brice Supers, Linda Johnson Kimble and myself, Rita Clark Kulley meet monthly for a dinner and a movie. It is important to stay in contact with lifelong friends. We love to find out what is happening to each others family in the past month. Do you think any talking goes on? Of course it does when four women get together. Any way, Linda, I want you to know I am proud of you for all you do for Rock Hall, your family, (you are a great mother too) and your employees and friends. You are the best. Rita.
Happy Presidents Day to you, Linda. You are doing an amazing job. Having been a past president of the business association for 3 years, the impression is that you conduct a meeting once a month. Nothing could be farther from the truth. You work harder all month long on your duties to the town and all the other county wide committees that go along with that office. I know because I’ve been there & I so much appreciate all that you have done & continue to do. You are a wonderful friend & you have a great family. We love you, Linda.
